School Time Jazz winning the Hearts of Students and Staff

School time jazz leaves an impact on our youth; as it's a lot more than performing music - it also involves sharing stories that ties to the history and evolution of the music.

In January of 2009, Larry Kinley visited Lebanon Junior High School for a Martin Luther  King, Jr. celebration.  He also shared some of his own experiences during such a pivotal point in our country's history.

Ian Frank, the school's Principal, wrote a very gracious letter of appreciation to Mr. Kinley.  Read the attached letter to see how Jazz Alive touches the hearts of our youth.

aubrey,

did you know that the blue wisp sponsors the Blue Wisp Young Lions Jazz Sextet. They play at the club every saturday 6-8pm.

All high school students; all made all-state jazz band. They certainly would appreciate some recognition.
